We are Jim & Carrie Chalmers…the vision behind the brand! After several years of RV’ing ourselves, and always throwing ideas back & forth, chatting about what we’d do differently if we ever owned our own RV Resort…here we are! With Jim’s extensive landscape design history as a back story, and Carrie’s marketing mind, this is how that vision was formed. Fast-forward several years later, and a toddler, and now our efforts are finally coming together.
We’ve picked a beautifully landscaped 25 acre plot of land, rich in history and full of old oaks, palms, and tons of citrus trees. Preserving as much of the history and natural landscape as possible, our goal is to develop not just any RV Park, but an RV Destination! Our resort, nestled amid the canopy of trees, will include: 146 lots with a beach-style entry pool, 600’ lazy river, tiki bar, full restaurant serving all of our local favorite fare, gym, day spa with private plunge pool, and much more!

We will be offering individual lots for private purchase opportunities as well as vacation rentals. Which do you think you’ll be interested in? Our goal is to preserve a wonderful history and landscape, here in St. Lucie County, while providing a super unique RV Resort destination experience! I've attached a copy of our brochure with more information.
Prices range from $185K to $299+K depending on the lot size & location. Our standard size lots around the perimeter are the ones that start at $185K. We were going to sell only the standard lots at a pre-construction discounted rate of $150K each, but we’ve had so much interest in purchases on the larger lots, that we’ve decided to extend an 18% discount on any lot. We’re not sure if we are going to stop at 40 lots sold (which is approaching), or stop at a certain date, in the near future.
We have a simple lot reservation agreement that I can gladly send you as well. We take a simple $1K deposit, to pick your lot. That will hold your lot until we are able to actually close on the deeded lot (just a few months away). That deposit will go into an escrow account and is 100% refundable for any reason, whatsoever. We do not feel like we will have any issue selling the lots, and we want any prospective buyers to feel safe with their investment.

You can purchase a lot at Cabo Rio! Become part of the Cabo Family by owning your own lot. Each lot is unique and canopied by majestic oaks and native palms. Most lots have a generous amount of untouched green space behind or around your site. This development is built around conservation, preservation, and getting back to a time where things were pure and simple! Pre-construction pricing is limited starting at $185K for our standard size lots, up to $299K for our estate lots.
Expectations with Ownership
POA Agreement: $400/month contribution will be applied to grounds maintenance, city water & sewer. Owner pays electric. A detailed proposed annual operating budget will be made available upon request along with the POA agreement, before committing to a RV Lot purchase. Our POA agreement will ensure that your lot will have the same look and appearance that you expect from Cabo Rio, through the years.
Can I rent My Lot
Cabo Rio lot rentals will be permitted through our third party onsite rental agency. This is exclusive to lot owners only.
